Information stored on your device

Coins stores the information you enter — transactions, income and expenses, categories, budgets, savings goals, accounts and net-worth figures — locally on your device. This information stays on your device and is not transmitted to us or to any third party. Coins has no accounts or logins and never connects to your bank.

iCloud backup

If you enable it, Coins can back up your data to your own private iCloud account so it syncs across your devices. This uses Apple's iCloud and stays within your Apple account — we never see or store your data. You can turn iCloud backup off at any time.

Face ID and passcode lock

Coins can lock the app with Face ID, Touch ID, or a PIN. Biometric authentication is handled entirely by Apple on your device — Coins never receives your Face ID or Touch ID data. Any PIN you set is stored securely on your device.

Home screen widget

The optional widget displays your own figures on your home screen. That data is read from your device and is never sent anywhere.

Purchases

Coins may offer a purchase to unlock additional features. Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store — we never see or store your payment-card details. Your purchase is associated with your Apple ID.

Information we do not collect

Coins requires no account and no bank connection. We do not use analytics or tracking, we include no third-party advertising or data-collecting SDKs, and we never receive your content. Because your data stays on your device, deleting the app removes the data it stored — back it up first if you want to keep it.

Children

Coins is a personal-finance tool intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new “last updated” date.
